Please find below the invitation letter to the upcoming Catalan Champions League and Federation Cup which will be held in Barcelona on 30th of September 2023.

Dear colleagues,
The 10th edition of the Champions League and Federation Cup arrives, once again, this event
will be held at the Joan Miró Park in Barcelona, o 30th of September. We have the
support and authorization of the Barcelona City Council and the Eix ample Left District
This year, as you know, the milestone of the transition from game to sport of
Football Buttons in
Catalonia has been produced, for this reason you will see that there will be news aimed at giving
more seriousness to the competitions and improving the aesthetic aspect.
We want to invite you to participate and, after the holidays, to carry out this great meeting of
the button football season again, with passion, competi tion and joy.
As is tradition, participation in the Champions League and Federation Cup is limited in the
number of participants, each of the associations must inform the organization of the players
chosen to play each of these competitions before September 26.
For the two competitions, the chosen format is one in which the total sum of all the buttons
cannot exceed 36.5cm, including the goalkeeper. Remember that the field buttons must have a
maximum height of 1cm.
The regulations of both tournaments will be the last one agreed by the unification of a single
regulation of Football Buttons in Catalonia.
The price of the tournaments will be 10 euros for adults and 5 euros for children under 18 years
of age.
As was the case in recent editions, the players who, after the First Phase of the Champions
League (Morning) do not qualify for the Final Phase (Afternoon) will play the Cup Winners’ Cup.
In the same way, the players who do not qualify for the final phase (afternoon) after the first
phase of the Federation Cup (morning) will play the Joan Miró Cup.
There will also be a new edition of the Children’s Champions League, for boys and girls who are
starting out in button football.
New in this edition:
Aesthetically, the first image one receives is very important. A series of improvements are

color, taking into account that matches will be filmed and that there will be an audience, being

Referees:
Efforts will be made that both the Champions League and the Federation Cup have one or more
general referees in the first phase of the competition. These merely advisory referees will resolve
doubts and help the correct development of the competitions, for this matter the collaboration
of people who do not participate in the tournament but who want to perform this function is
requested.
In the Second Phase of the Champions League and in the Cup Winners’ Cup and in the first round
of the Federation Cup and Joan Miró Cup, efforts will be made to have general referees available.
In the second
qualifying round and subsequent rounds of the Fed Cup and Joan Miró Cup, each
of the matches will have a referee assigned who will be neither a player from their own
association nor a rival with whom they have previously faced. For this purpose, the player s who
are eliminated may be summoned to carry out referee functions.
In the first round of the Champions League and Cup Winners’ Cup, each of the matches will
