Hungary is currently experiencing sectorball fever as the film Lepattanó is set to premiere for the general public on September 26. The movie features famous Hungarian actors and none other than Patrick Duffy, best known for his role as Bobby Ewing in the classic TV series Dallas.
This week, several pre-premiere screenings were held in cities like Miskolc and Budapest. At each of these special screenings, sectorball demonstrations took place, showcasing the sport to the attendees. During a private event on Tuesday at the Művész Cinema, Patrick Duffy himself had the chance to try his hand at sectorball.
The demonstrations and screenings will continue in other cities, including Szeged, Nyíregyháza, Debrecen, Sopron, and Szombathely. Excitement for both the film and the sport is growing as Hungary embraces this unique combination of cinema and athletics.
