South American Table Football Championship: Quinho Zuccato Triumphs Under the 12-Touch Rule

On October 12, 2024, the coastal city of Antofagasta, Chile, played host to the highly anticipated 12-Touches rule competitions as part of the South American Table Football Championship. The event brought together some of the continent’s finest players, all vying for the coveted title.

In a standout performance, Palmeiras player Quinho Zuccato claimed the individual championship, further cementing his dominance in the sport. With this victory, Zuccato became the reigning champion in every national and international tournament he has competed in this season. His final showdown was against fellow Palmeiras teammate Paulo Michilin, which resulted in a decisive 7-4 victory, sealing Quinho’s status as the undisputed best under the 12-Touches rule.

The third-place match was no less thrilling, ending in a 4-4 draw between Igor Monteiro of Vasco da Gama and Mauro, also of Palmeiras. Due to Mauro having the advantage in the event of a tie, he secured the bronze.
